The houses
Three houses, one chain.
Steady Eddie and Strategic Agent require skill sets. Even Steven owns them. Tacit Tessera licenses them to OEMs and to AI.
That sentence is the whole arrangement, and every page that names a house carries it. Two houses collect skill sets and run them. One house owns them, for the person or company they came from. The register numbers them, licenses them, counts every use and lets anyone check a number.
Every entry from every house reads Specified. Nothing has been issued, nothing has been licensed and nothing has run.
Even Steven owns what is made of every skill
Even Steven owns what is made of every skill — the recorded session, the converted paper, the taught package — on every track, for the person or company the skill came from; the skill itself stays the person's. It holds the consents. It holds the paper and the pay. It is the one house a Source signs with, whether that Source is a person in a seat, a professional licensing their own practice, or a company licensing its records.
Consent is not one signature but several, each given and ended on its own. Ending one is never a breach: It stops for new work at once; a job already underway finishes. A withdrawal is exercised at Even Steven, and the register carries it through to the count.
Even Steven brings no tile of its own to the Book, because ownership is not a collection. What it owns is said on the Card, in the line Owned by Even Steven, and on every licence written against that number.

Steady Eddie
Steady Eddie is a division of Sustainable Infrastructure Group Ltd. It collects Hands skill sets with the Trainer — a kit in a case, wired to nothing — and it requires those skill sets on machines. It also supplies its own Machine packages, licensed through Tacit Tessera like everything else in the Book.
Track H — Hands. One entry is a named person's way of running one family of machine, held with that person's consent. The name is the address: the number sits beside it, never instead of it, and entries within a family sit in no order.
Track M — Machine. One entry is a way of working taught to or loaded on a machine, not a named person's. It is chosen before the work starts. It proposes, and it never authorizes.
No capture session has been recorded, no operator has been signed, nothing has been metered and nobody has been paid.
Strategic Agent
Strategic Agent captures the skill set of a professional from the corpus they retained over a career and mined into a reference. It collects a company's records the same way, and it requires those skill sets in its own command centre.
Track R — Records. One entry is a reference built from a body of records, which answers with named sources and refuses when the records do not support an answer. The Source is either a named person's practice or a company's records; the Card says which.
The first eight seats of the Office sector are its first shelf, and the register is open. Nobody is interviewed and nobody is recorded to build a Records skill set; the paper is already written, and the two routes into the register are records mining and then Ratify.
Canadian Shield — the fourth house.
Canadian Shield converts the machines a customer already runs so that they run with a degree of autonomy, and it collects the Machine skill sets that work needs: a way of working taught to or loaded on a machine, chosen before the work starts, which proposes and never authorizes. Its mark, CS, sits on a tile it collected. Even Steven owns what is made of every one of them, and Tacit Tessera numbers, licenses and counts them like everything else in the Book.
Track M — Machine. One entry is one way of working on one family of machine. No named person's hands, and no machine ever receives a session.
Nothing is filed under Canadian Shield yet, and no package has run on any machine.
A tile carries the collector's mark
The small mark on a tile says who brought the skill set to the register, and nothing else. ES sits on a Hands tile Even Steven collected. SE sits on a Machine tile, and on a hand Steady Eddie's Trainer brought. SA sits on a Records tile that Strategic Agent collected; a records set Steady Eddie brought, such as a machine's own manual set, carries SE. Even Steven's mark, ES, sits on a Hands tile it collected: Even Steven owns what is made of every skill and collects hands as well, with the Trainer it adopts from Steady Eddie, on whatever machine the hand runs.
The Card carries all four facts in order, so nothing has to be inferred from a mark: Source, Collected by, Owned by Even Steven, Licensed by Tacit Tessera.
Every number leads with its sector letter, and the sector says where in the register an entry sits before the track, the family or the trade is read. Construction and Office hold everything filed today. The other four sectors are open, with nothing filed yet, and a house that collects for one of them is named when one does.
Two kinds of licensee
Tacit Tessera licenses a skill set to an OEM — a maker, a kit company, a fleet owner, a business that runs a machine — and to an AI: a platform, an agent builder or a command centre that runs a Records set. Both get the same thing: a numbered, sealed edition; a count of every use; the seal check. Neither becomes an owner by running one, and neither signs the Source's paper.
